Stephen Davis
Interim Pastor
Steve serves as First Baptist Gulf Breeze’s Interim Pastor during the search for their new Pastor.
In ministry for over 50 years, he was a Southern Baptist (SBC) pastor in Texas, then Indiana Baptists’ State Executive Director, then Vice President of SBC’s North American Mission Board. Now retired, he and his wife, Diana, live in Pensacola Beach.
Steve enjoys grandparenting, golf, fishing, and bicycling. He and Diana have three adult children and seven grandchildren.
Matthew Dunkin
Worship Pastor
Matthew recently came onto the team at First Baptist Gulf Breeze in September 2022 as the Worship Pastor. He is married to his beautiful wife Shelby. They have one son. Matthew enjoys hunting, fishing, and any other outdoor-related activity. He is a Miami Dolphins fan, as well as a huge Alabama football fan because he is from Tuscaloosa, AL. Matthew is passionate about sharing the Gospel through song and
leading other believers in worshiping the Lord Jesus.
Sagar Sukka
Associate Pastor/Youth
Sagar was born and raised in India, and finished his seminary education at Moody Theological Seminary. He has a beautiful wife, Leighann, and a daughter, Allie. He loves the Word of God and is passionate to share with the lost and the saints. After previously working at Storypoint as a Pastoral Intern in 2016-2017, he has returned and joined the team as Associate Pastor/Youth. Sagar is excited to knowing God biblically and making Him known passionately. He is looking forward to making disciples for Christ and like Christ. He loves to watch NCIS with his family, spend time at the beach and fish with his nephews.
Teresa Furney
Administrator
Teresa joined the team in January of 2018. She brings years of ministry experience with her. Though her official title is Administrator, she is involved in so much more. Teresa is married to her husband Rocky. They have 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren.
Gabo Vargas
Mision Casa Pastor
Gabriel was born in Bogota, Colombia and has lived in the United States since 2000. That’s the same year that he and his lovely wife, Christina Perez, were married. They have two sons: Matthew and Thomas. They met Jesus “The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” in a small town near Neptune Beach, Florida in 2003.
